Traditional Greek Motorsailer / Kaiki

The Kaiki or caique is a traditional fishing boat, found in the Aegean and Ionian Seas. It is a wooden vessel, usually made of pine wood. There are many different types of this kind of boat, such as Bombarda, Botis, Yaita, Yatzao, Karavoskaro, Perama, Sakoleva, Trata, Tserniki, and Varkalas.

But for most Greeks the essence of maritime Greece is the beautiful Trehandiri. With its sweeping sheer, its raised stemhead and its brightly painted topsides.

Ayia Thalassini is one of those boats that you fall in love with. Let her show you the finest that greek island life can offer!
